Welcome to Somerset Productions. I am Shelly Somerset, Founder of Somerset Productions, your first choice for marketing that involves audio and/or video production for your business. First, a little background.

Somerset Productions evolved from my ambition to become a voice over talent and radio commercial producer. I have worked in radio markets from Colorado to Oregon to Los Angeles California and finally here in San Diego. My instincts were sharpened in these markets to produce 30 and 60 commercials that communicated a client’s product or service quickly, persuasively, and entertainingly, with a call to action that got their phone ringing. Without good conversion, advertising has no value.

It became clear to me that many companies were becoming more dependent on their websites for their marketing needs, whether the traffic came from outside advertising such as radio, or through the search engines. By 2005, video production for advertising had finally become an affordable option for many small businesses. Not only that, the inclusion of video on websites was becoming more and more prevalent. The landscape of advertising choices was changing rapidly, and I changed with it. It was a natural progression.
